GENERAL

At what time can we arrive on Friday?

We are happy to welcome you as of 19h on Friday. We will have plenty of drinks at the bar and some activities ready for you, so feel free to set up your tent and meet us at the venue!

Can I charge my phone?

Yes, please come to the inside bar. There will be extension cords and multiprises available. Please make sure to take your own charger.

We advise you to supervise your phone while charging as Diabolic Heaven is not responsible in case of theft or damages.

Is there merchandise available for purchase?

As always, we are excited to offer our fantastic LAFF merchandise this year, featuring shorts, shirts, tank tops, frisbees, and more. Our trusted provider, 9UP Ultimate, ensures top quality! Who knows, you might even find some limited edition items! 😉

The merchandise tent will be open on Sunday between 11h and 15h.

Can spectators attend the tournament?

Of course, feel free to invite your friends and family to come and watch you play. Access to the venue is free. We will have drinks available at the bar for reasonable prices.

In case there are spectators who would like to eat or stay overnight, please register them as guests by sending an email to [email protected] and we will provide you with all of the information.

How can we pay at the tournament?

We accept cash or electronic payments through Payconiq. Please make sure to download the app in advance.

If you are from outside of Belgium, Payconiq might not work. In that case you can use our bank acccount number (BE44 0015 1561 0145) for wire transfers. Please save it in your banking app in advance, as wire transfers will also be accepted upon showing the receipt.

Who do I go to in case of general questions during the weekend itself?

Amélie and Yannick will be happy to assist you. They will be constantly walking around the venue. You can also reach out to any of our volunteers wearing a LAFF crew shirt, and they will direct you to the right person.

What happens in case of theft?

Diabolic Heaven is not responsible for theft or damage of your belongings. The fields and campsite are accessible to the general public, and no permanent security is present. Therefor, we urge you not to leave your valuables in your tent and keep track of them at all times.

Where can I throw away my thrash?

Thrash cans will be available throughout the venue. We are obligated to recycle the trash. May we therefor ask you to through:

How can we reach the venue?

If you come by car, the address is Heksenbergstraat 1, 3500 Hasselt (Complex Heksenberg).

If you would like to come by public transport:

We do not provide shuttles.

FOOD

When can I collect my welcome drink?

The welcome cocktail will be served on Friday evening from 19h to 23h. After that, we cannot guarantee that we will have any welcome cocktail left for you. The welcome cocktail cannot be exchanged for another complimentary drink over the weekend.

Will there be food on Friday?

No, we won’t have dinner available on Friday evening. However, we’ve selected and approved some excellent takeout options in the neighborhood for you:

Deliveroo and Takeaway.com are also great options for ordering food.

How do I collect my lunch or dinner?

On Saturday morning your captain can come to the registration tent. Upon registration they will receive an Olympic ID for each player. Please bring this ID to the buffet to be served.

If you are vegetarian, please ensure you receive an ID that specifically mentions 'veggie' on it!

I have food intolerances/allergies, what should I do?

Please inform us upfront of any intolerances and allergies via an email to [email protected] and we will do our best to accomodate you.

We can’t guarantee any adaptations if we receive your information or request during the weekend.

Where can I find the schedule?

An online schedule can be found HERE. At the venue you can find the schedule at the information tent between field 2 and 3.

Are there any eligibility rules for players?

Yes, LAFF is a tournament that mainly focuses on new players!

In the open and mixed division the following players can attend:

The Still in Love division welcomes all experience levels! A great way to experience LAFF again!

What does ‘loose mixed’ mean?

This means we expect one or two women on the line.

Exception: a team is allowed to put more than two women on the line, both when they can choose or need to follow. However, the opposing team is in that case not obligated to follow. Examples:

Who should I contact if I have questions about the schedule or games?

Maxime is your guy! You can find him at the information stand between field 2 and 3 on Saturday and Sunday during the games. Make sure to give him a hug afterward!

 

ENTERTAINMENT

What is this year's party theme?

This tournament is your chance to go for gold! Get ready to unleash the Olympian in you! This year’s LAFF theme is all about the Olympic Games!

Will photos be taken of me during the tournament?

A photographer will be present on Saturday and Sunday to capture action shots throughout the day. By attending the tournament, you consent to having your photos published online and used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, feel free to reach out to us via [email protected].

At the party, we’ll have a photobooth where you can snap a picture in your best party outfit. If you’re quick enough, you might even score a printout of your photo!

Where can I find photos from the tournament?

All photos will be available on our website and Facebook after the tournament.
